Members of Warren Junior Women’s League/GFWC met recently to start planning their first “Taste of Trumbull” which will be held on Wednesday, April 28th. This event will be held at Candlelite Knolls, in Cortland, thanks to their generous donation of the use their facility.
The Taste will include a variety of restaurants from Trumbull County including Warren’s famous Sunrise Inn featuring their signature Cajun Chicken Alfredo and homemade Cheesecakes. The event includes a 50/50 Raffle, Chinese Auction, Door Prizes, entertainment provided by singer, guitarist John Ruman. Guests will vote on awards in different categories for their favorite restaurant.
The proceeds from this culinary event will be donated to Life Enriching Activities Program also known as LEAP for their Summer Enrichment Program for handicapped young adults of Trumbull County. A video presentation will be shown throughout the evening featuring the Summer Enrichment Program.
