Members of GFWC/Warren Junior Women’s League met recently to start planning this year’s major fundraising event, the “Taste of Trumbull” date and place to be announced. The Taste will include a variety of restaurants from Trumbull County. The event includes a 50/50 Raffle, Chinese Auction, Door Prizes, and entertainment. Guests will vote on awards in different categories for their favorite restaurant. A portion of the proceeds from this culinary event will be donated to Life Enriching Activities Program also known as LEAP for their Summer Enrichment Program for handicapped young adults of Trumbull County.
