GFWC refers to the General Federation of Women's Clubs, an international volunteer service organization founded in 1890. Its members work to improve their communities through a wide range of activities, including supporting the arts, advancing education, promoting healthy lifestyles, advocating for children, and preventing domestic violence.
The organization was founded in response to professional women being denied entry to an all-male press club and has since grown to include over 60,000 members in clubs worldwide.
The Warren Junior Women’s League is proud to be part of the GFWC network while supporting local causes close to home. Through hands-on volunteer projects, fundraising, and community partnerships, our members work together to strengthen the Warren area and make a meaningful impact.
We also believe in building friendship and leadership along the way. Whether you’re new to volunteering or looking for a place to share your skills and meet other women who care about giving back, WJWL offers a welcoming space to learn, connect, and serve.
