The Warren Junior Women’s League (WJWL) is a local chapter of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC). We are a volunteer-driven organization that brings together women who are interested in community service, philanthropy, leadership, and fellowship. 

WJWL welcomes all women who are interested in giving back to the community and connecting with others who share similar values. Members come from a variety of backgrounds, and no prior volunteer experience is required—just a willingness to get involved. 

Our projects vary from year to year based on community needs and member interests. We support initiatives related to:

• Arts and culture

• Education and libraries

• Health and wellness

• Civic engagement and outreach

• Environmental awareness

We focus on hands-on service, donations, and partnerships with local organizations.

Members are encouraged to participate at a level that fits their schedule. While we have meetings, events, and volunteer opportunities throughout the year, we understand that everyone’s availability is different and strive to be flexible. 

WJWL typically meets once a month. Meeting locations and times may vary and are shared with members in advance. Additional events and volunteer opportunities are scheduled throughout the year. 

Yes, membership includes annual dues, which help support programming, administrative costs, and GFWC affiliation. Specific dues information can be provided upon request or during membership inquiries. 

No. While participation is encouraged, we understand that members may not be able to attend every meeting or event. Many opportunities are available throughout the year, allowing members to participate when they are able. Attending six out of nine general meetings in the club year is required. If this cannot be achieved, you must have direct communication with the presiding President.

There are many ways to support WJWL! Community members can attend public events, participate in fundraisers, donate to supported causes, or partner with us on local initiatives.
